Please save the date and join the SBDC and the Division of Small Business (DSB) for a Virtual Information Session on April 30^th from 11:00 to 12:15 to learn about Delaware’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). 

SSBCI is a loan program funded through the U.S. Treasury Department and coordinated locally by DSB. This loan program is designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to access funding. 

The Information Session is co-hosted by the SBDC and DSB and will be joined by lenders Del-One and True Access Capital to provide details on how the program works. 

We will be discussing the following:

• The SSBCI Lending Program Purpose
• How the program works
• What the program guidelines are
• Who the program will help
• What the funds can be used for

Borrower support for the prep, application and loan management process 

The webinar will provide insights from Federal Trade Commission staff on the essentials of Made in USA advertising and labeling.

Event Objectives:

Gain insights on the essentials of making non-deceptive "Made in the USA" claims from FTC staff. In most instances, in order to label a product as “Made in USA,” a marketer must be able to demonstrate that the product was “all or virtually all” made in the United States.

Understand differing legal standards applicable to “Made in USA” claims for manufactured products, textiles, wool products, and others.

Learn about the FTC’s enforcement program, including legal consequences for deceptive or fraudulent use of U.S.-origin claims.
