STEMporium Offers Unique Support for Parents to Shop Local
The Great STEMporium has announced new Evening Science Sessions on Wednesday and Friday evenings during the holiday season, where kids can stay at the STEMporium to do experiments and activities while parents tackle their holiday shopping at local stores. The STEMporium, is well-located at 18388 Coastal Highway, Lewes, for parents with quick access to the outlets and downtown shops.
“Our evening science sessions are a win-win-win for everyone – the kids, the parents, and our fellow local businesses” says Cari Miller, co-founder. The sessions are a natural extension of The Great STEMporium’s already creative “menu” of science projects. David Stobie, co-founder remarked that “as a parent, it’s always challenging to find time to shop local when we don’t have a sitter.” Cari and David are also hoping parents appreciate the opportunity to do their holiday shopping during a weeknight when stores are less crowded and the shelves are still full of deals.
Evening Science Sessions are available, with an advanced reservation, for elementary school aged kids. Sessions occur every Wednesday and Friday night from 5:30-7:30 beginning November 20th and will end on December 20. Space is limited, and there is a fee per session.
