The 39th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow will be held Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, 2016. The Powwow grounds are located in the middle of a natural wooded area off John J. Williams HIghway (SR 24) between Routes 113 and 1.
The grounds will open at 10:00 AM on Saturday and the grand entry will be at Noon. Sunday morning begins with a worship service at 10:00 AM and grand entry at 1:30 PM. Native American crafts and food vendors open at 10:00 AM on Saturday and Noon on Sunday.
Attendees who are wheelchair-bound or who have motorized wheelchairs should enter the grounds on Mt. Joy Road. Special seating for these handicapped individuals will continue to be available and monitored by Powwow staff.
