CAMP Rehoboth Choir Ensemble Alliance Presents: "Music of the Night"

From September 30, 2023 7:00 pm until September 30, 2023 9:30 pm
The CAMP Rehoboth Chorus is thrilled to announce the premiere concert of their newly- formed small ensemble – ALLIANCE. The 18-voice group was created following several rounds of auditions from the larger 85-voice CAMP Rehoboth Chorus and will now be featured in the final concert of their expanded 2023 season – Music of the Night. Artistic Director, Doug Yetter, shared, “During the pandemic, several singers from the main chorus performed in themed cabarets on the 1 st Friday of every month. One of the “First Friday” themes was “Music of the Night” - songs about life from dusk to dawn. The singers came up with so many great ideas I felt that at some point it warranted a full concert. After ALLIANCE was formed, I began thinking what a fantastic match their voices would be for a fully produced and expanded concert modeled after the cabaret. After the few rehearsals we’ve had, that vision is becoming a beautiful reality.” The musical selections for the concert include Fly Me to the Moon, I Could Have Danced All Night, It Had Better Be Tonight, December 1963 (Oh What a Night), You Make Me Feel Like Dancin’, Star Dust, Another Saturday Night, Blue Moon, In the Still of the Nite, Memory, Moondance, Mister Sandman, Walkin’ After Midnight, and, of course, the title tune Music of the Night. Doug Yetter on keyboard, leads a trio of musicians to accompany the concert. Technical wizardry provided by the Chorus’ skilled Production Managers Larry Rosen and Barry Bugg. Music of the Night will be presented three times over a three-concert weekend: September 29 (7p.m.), September 30 (7p.m.), and October 1 (3p.m.) at Epworth United Methodist 19285 Holland Glade Rd. Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Tickets are $25 and available at under the Events tab. Tickets: $25 (no service fee) may be purchased online at, by calling 302-227-5620, or in person at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
