Auto Technician

DART First State, a division of DelDOT, has immediate job openings for Automotive Technicians in Sussex County, Delaware. DART’s Automotive Technician is responsible for performing skilled work in the routine inspection, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of automotive equipment. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices of the mechanic trade, and the ability to diagnose and repair major malfunctions of motor vehicles, vehicle electrical systems and automotive electronic components. Applicants must possess or be able to obtain a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License or permit w/passenger and airbrakes endorsement. Hours vary (days, nights, and weekends).

• Starting wage of $22.50/hr with progression to top rate of $25.00/hr
