Host/Hostess

Kiwi’s Tiki Hut and Kiwi’s Kove (at the Atlantic Sands Hotel) are hiring Host/Hostess for the 2022 season. Both are located directly on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk just steps from the beach. Ideal candidates would work well as part of a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and aim to provide our guests with an outstanding experience with each visit to our restaurants and bars.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of Kiwi’s Tiki Hut and Kiwi’s Kove to all of our guests with their friendly demeanor, excellent customer service and attention to detail. The Host/Hostess must be able to carry on natural conservations with our guests without sounding scripted.
Host/Hostess will greet guests upon their arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, show guests to their tables, present guests with menus while maintaining a positive attitude. In addition, the Host/Hostess may be required to bus tables, run food and re-stock server stations.

REQUIREMENTS
-1-year experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred
-Ability to work well under pressure
-High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances
-Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
-Ability to work in all weather conditions
-Able to be on feet for several hours at a time
